Roads Open From Custer to Thunder Mountain

A letter from Custer Idaho dated June 2 reports J A Caizek returning from Loon creek to Custer. His pack-train moved to the Lost Packer mine and back to Jordan creek, with minimal snow along the way. Trails from Loon creek to Marble creek have been clear for six weeks and grass is abundant, and the informant complains outsiders are not properly advised of the short route to Thunder Mountain.
