Notice to the public from Challis Idaho describes Mrs. M Jose providing board and lodging northwest of R N Hulls Co store. Meals and lodging are first class with fine rooms and beds and a table set with the best. Rates by day week or month.
Mr Amos Franklin, long Idaho resident, discusses Thunder Mountain revival and Colorado miners flooding into the Salmon river country. He recalls placer camps like California Bar and Oro Grande, notes rail expansion from Mackay to Challis, and urges wary entry via Salt Lake City route to Challis.
Boisterous Challis items show W H Felkner and W J Treloar at Boise for Democratic State Central Committee. Reports include weddings and school closings, new Goodwin's Weekly editor in Lake St. Goodwin. Dredge ops near Stanley Basin, Memorial Day events, and a Stanley district discovery. Notes on mines, pack trains, and Oregon Short Line surveying hint at a coming central Idaho boom and possible future city sites at Salmon Challis Cape Horn or Thunder Mountain.

Notice states Dr C T Jones cannot meet engagements in Challis on June 2 due to heavy work in Custer but will fulfill all engagements as soon as possible.
