Death of George B Thompson prominent Odd Fellow and Challis resident
George B. Thompson, a respected Challis and Custer area citizen and charter member of Custer Lodge No 21 L D O F, died July 12 1896 at about 63 after illness. He leaves a wife and three children. Funeral services were held at the Odd Fellows hall conducted by his lodge members. He was a devoted father and husband and long active in community and benevolent work.
