The following warrants against Custer County will be paid with interest to date if presented within 60 days from May 15 1906. From the April 1906 issue of the current expense fund. Notices announce Republican primaries in Custer county on July 23 1906 to elect delegates to the county convention in Challis on July 28 and five delegates to the Idaho state convention in Pocatello on August 1 1906. Also a desert land entry by Leah G Reese of Goldburg Custer county Idaho with hearings scheduled August 25 1906 before U S Commissioner L H Johnston at Challis.
The Republican State Central Committee calls a nominating convention in Pocatello Idaho on August 31 1906 at 11 am to nominate a Justice of the Supreme Court a member of Congress and state officers for the November 6 1906 election and to elect a new State Central Committee. <continues with details on delegates and committee meeting>
By direction of the Custer County Democratic Central Committee a Democratic County Convention will be held in Mackay Idaho on Wednesday August 1 1906 at 2 oclock p m for electing six delegates to the Democratic State convention in Coeur d Alene City on August 6 1906 Precincts throughout the county are entitled to delegate representation Primary elections will be held on Wednesday July 25 1906 between 3 p m and 6 p m The committeeman in each precinct will post notices in at least three public places and arrange for the primary meeting W H FELKNER W J LAMME Secretaries.
