Idaho news notes Boise City visits by K D Williams and Attorney Lamme on legal business. Challis social highlights include a Linen Shower for Isabella Beardsley and a masked ball with 42 attendees. local mining claims and Pacific Coast travel plans also appear.
A Challis correspondent recalls meeting William Jennings Bryan at a Salt Lake City Alta Club banquet. Mrs Bryan impresses with quiet dignity and practical intellect as Bryan’s generous persona and eloquent speech frame a call to national unity and a bid for the 1908 presidency.
A rousing call praising Mr Bryan as the future president and champion of just causes. The piece extols a broader imperialist challenge, the defeat of tyranny through learning and reason, and a united march toward eternal justice led by a steadfast leader.

Body to be delivered at Challis Idaho with the reward paid from the deceased estate. February 16 1907.
