Mrs Ida Blume, nearly 22, died in Challis on Feb 4 1903 due to childbirth. Her husband Fred Blume, a Minnesota native, survives. The funeral was held Feb 7 with many floral tributes. Dr C P Houston was arrested for manslaughter in connection with her death. preliminary hearing scheduled as attorneys moved to dismiss per plaintiff request.
