County Commissioners adopt plans for Salmon River bridge
The Custer County Idaho Board of County Commissioners met January 25 1911 in special session with Robt Campbell chairman and E J Michael clerk. Plans and specifications by the C G Sheely Co for a steel bridge over Salmon River two miles below Barr or Jenson bridge were adopted. Bids to be advertised 30 days in The Silver Messenger Challis and Mackay Miner Mackay. Bids due April 5 1911 for consideration April 11 1911. Board adjourned without date.

Custer County to be surveyed by multiple crews next summer
Frank L Spofford assistant supervisor of surveys informs Senator Macbeth that two to four surveying crews will work in Custer County this coming summer. Townships to be surveyed include Tp 12 N R 14 19 and R 15 19 East and others. The aim is to survey lands with bona fide settlers and boost agricultural land classifications, with additional townships under contract or applied for.
