The Secretary of Agriculture authorizes grazing for Challis National Forest in 1911. 5,000 cattle and horses and 65,000 sheep may graze with season dates and rates: cattle 25 to 35 cents, horses 45 to 85 cents, sheep 6 cents. Maximum limits set for sheep, cattle. applications due March 1, 1911.
A probate order fixes December 26 1010 at 2 PM in Challis Idaho to prove J G Finnell last will and hear letters testamentary for M M Sweet and E J Michael with notice by clerk via publication at least ten days prior in The Silver Messenger. Also a district court attachment notice against Fort Pitt Mining milling Co and others for $3000 with interest and costs dated December 17 1910.
Notice lists that all applications to graze cattle horses and sheep in the Lemul National Forest must be filed in Mackay Idaho by February 15 1911. A notice states Henry Adamson absconded with intent to beat creditors but is described as malicious falsehood. He left with first class security sufficient to pay debts twice over, and obligations will be settled by securities or cash realized on them. W. W. Adamson.

In the matter of the estate of Ellen Murphy deceased a notice is given to creditors to exhibit their claims with vouchers within one month after first publication to the administrator Michael McGovern at his residence in Coster county Idaho. This notice is dated December 27 1010 and Attorney Geo E Keyes represents the administrator.

Mrs. Emily N. Kimball died at Challis on December 20 after a stroke paralyzing her body began with vomiting and a bath. Born 1841 in Marysville Ohio, she married Levi Kimball in 1861 and raised eleven children, with seven living. Burial was in LaPlatte Nebraska. she is remembered as devoted, trusted, and loved. Clyde Wilkinson and Amelia Marker wed quietly in Clayton and will soon settle in Challis. The Christmas Cantata at the opera house drew a large crowd, with praise for the children and teachers.
The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to friends who visited and contributed kindness during their loss. Their support lightened a dark time and brought unselfish friendship into a grieving home. They hope others will receive similar aid when needed, just as they did.
