In Butte Montana on December 8 officers halted a 14 hour 41 minute marathon waltz after several couples failed to eat or drink. Three couples were stopped by mayoral order on medical advice. Six girls were hospitalized including one with a ruptured blood vessel and another with muscular paralysis.
