Estate of Fredrick Charles Brennan deceased cautions all creditors to file claims with vouchers within four months after notice. Administratrix Sema Brennan requests claims be presented at her Mackay Idaho residence in Custer County. Chase A. Clute is attorney for the administratrix. First publication December 12, 195.
Christmas approached with no snow in Challis. Market items note a Christmas ball, musical concert, and gatherings by locals from Bayhorse to East Park. The Horseshoe Copper Co elected officers in Mackay. deaths include Burton Draper and Heman Jones of the Idaho World. Congress talk centers on Panama Canal funds and tariff questions as new sessions begin.

Pursuant to an order of the State Board of Land Commissioners Idaho notices that applications to lease State lands will be received by the Register in Boise up to January 4, 1906. Lands not applied for by that date will be offered at public auction on January 15, 1906 or as soon after as possible in the counties. The Board of County Commissioners of Custer County Idaho invites sealed bids for county printing for the year 1906. Bids cover all legal notices and publications required by law and any Board order, plus election notices and free printing for election tickets. Bids must be sealed and submitted to the Clerk by the second Monday of January, with the board reserving the right to reject all bids.
Notice states sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Commissioners of Custer County Idaho at the regular January session for care and maintenance of indigent sick and otherwise despondent poor of Custer County.
Bids for building or room to serve as a hospital and for care of the indigent poor of Custer county must include food clothing lodging medicines nursing and medical attendance with responsible care for inmates and jail prisoners. Sealed bids marked Proposals for Care of County Poor due with the county clerk by January 2 in 1906, with right to reject any bids.
Camille Richards a French prospector about 54 years old was found dead on the south side of the Vendome hotel in Weiser after lying in the street overnight. Dr Shirley determined he had been dead for some time and the death was attributed to exposure. He had come with Win Waite and Harry Seymour from Boise to Weiser and owned claims in Custer county. His wife in Montana, separated from him for 15 years, lives with their son in Butte and is said to work in McConnell's department store. He was reputed a habitual drunkard and no inquest was held.
From Forney Idaho December 5 1905 the Singiser mining area shows an improving outlook as 12 workers develop ore bodies and plan new hoisting works after last spring’s fire destroyed the old plant. Expect renewed construction in spring with larger facilities.
The Rabbit Foot Mining Co on Pine creek reports extensive work on 32 claims with a 10 stamp mill nearly finished. New tunnels under way connect to old workings at 250 feet depth, funding 873 and 125 foot contracts. Black Eagle Mining’s Yellow Jacket gains brighten season prospects. Challis gateway noted, Morgan creek road urged for county aid.
Program for a December 27 concert by Misa Annie Lee Hechi and others includes Last Rose of Summer, piano duets, cornet solo, sacred song Nearer My God to Thee. Admission 50 and 25 cents. Doors open at 7, program starts 8.
