A 55 year old Indiana native, Martin Joyce died December 1 1910 after pneumonia contracted while wintering in Garden Creek mining country. He lived a broad Western Christian life, helped many, and left three brothers and a sister. His funeral was held December 3 in Challis with Catholic services. He never had an enemy and was known for kindness and honesty.
