A Denver stock company led by J. B. Porter and others intends to tunnel 800 feet at the mouth of Deadwood Fork of Payette to divert and drain a river reach. Estimated cost is 30000 dollars and the venture includes securing air compressor, drill, boiler, and engine for immediate site work. The ground was bonded to the Denver company by the Bunch Brothers and others.
