Salmon River Railroad survey to push California extension

Vice-President Bancroft announced another survey party will operate between Calientes and Los Angeles as the Short Line advances toward final location. E S Arnold leads the party, recently from Salmon River country and Cullen. Death of John Olson in Guster county

John Olson a 67 year old Swedish native and 16 year resident of Guster county died last Thursday at County Hospital. Funeral services were held the same day at 5 p.m. with Lockhart Boyd reading the rites at the grave.
