Infant Deaths In Jefferson And Fulton Townships
Williams four month old son of Mr and Mrs F B Sleven Jefferson township died this morning of fever at home. Funeral Sunday at 10 pm from the house with interment in Baptist church in Harri son township. Cora six month old daughter of Mr and Mrs Samuel Spancer Jr died at 5 am at Grove street Southside of pneumonia. Funeral Sunday at noon from United Brethren church in Fulton. The cortege leaves at 8 am with interment in church cemetery.

Lieutenant Dunn issued orders to depart for Camp Mount with men aged 18 to 45 and guardian consent for minors. Recruiting Office to Open for U S Army Enlistment
Sergeant Denegar and Charles Wilmer private of Company F Eleventh Infantry Mobile Alabama were brought here by Lieutenant Russ to open a recruiting office at once to enlist men for the regular army. Those who sign will serve three years. They were formerly at Fort Apache Ariz but recently moved to Mobile. They will open the list probably tomorrow.
