George Smith of Wade Erte pled guilty to reckless driving and excessive speed on E Ohio Ave at 12 15 Sunday morning and was fined 10 dollars plus costs. Donald Thonen of Rittman pled guilty to excessive speed on N Main St past the high school at 3 30 pm Monday September 23 and fined 5 dollars plus costs. Clarence Shook of Rittman pled guilty to intoxication on Saturday night September 21 and was fined 90 dollars plus costs and sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended if he leaves Rittman. 18 street-duty days to fulfill the fine. This is Shook’s eighth offense.

Scout Organization Expands with Girl Scout Plans in Rittman
The Rittman Scout Organization held a Tuesday meeting led by Ed Reffert at City Hall to form a functional executive group.
