The bride, class of 1920 Shreve High School, is active in the Presbyterian church and community. the groom is a well regarded local young man.
Mike Parl of Barberton was fined 200 dollars for transporting six gallons of raisin jack in a Ford in a failed run toward Rittman. Deputies halted the car at Erie Avenue crossing, finding five gallons and one more gallon of liquor. 120 dollars in coins were seized and later turned over to Marshal Schorger. Parl faced Mayor Shackleford with guilty plea to transportation of liquor and related charges. costs added.
The annual corn roast of the G. O W. class was held last Saturday evening at the home of Mr and Mrs Jind Vaifee Ie kin. A goodly number attended to enjoy the hospitality of their S. S. teacher.
On Monday evening a Baye Marsh millow and wiener roast drew during the Bauman’s sugar trove event. Freshmen devoured the refreshments.
