Norwayne and West Holmes collide as the Indians extend their season with a 20-0 lead late in the game. Harold Hoty and Jim Vaughn spark the Norwayne offense while Ted Schumacher and Dave Money pace West Holmes drives before a fumble and strong defense seal the score.

Private Avery Erik Kinch son of Mr and Mrs Avery Kinch of 73 South Second has finished eight weeks of military police training at Army Training Center Ft Gordon Ga under the Reserve Enlistment program. He studied civil and military law traffic control map reading prisoner of war control and self defense before now entering the 447th Civil Affairs Company Army Reserves in Wooster.
F. C. Kanehl and Roger Krabill topped the north-south standings in Medina at the Rittman Duplicate Bridge games held recently.
