Injury Fatal To Creston Marshal Burr Lance
Burr Lance age 68 Creston marshal died at Kinney and Smith hospital Wooster noon Wednesday from a head injury suffered six weeks earlier. He fell from a tree struck his head on the sidewalk while clearing debris after a storm and later received an electric shock. He arrested a man who struck him in the head though the initial mishap likely caused death. He lapsed into unconsciousness on Labor Day and was operated on to relieve brain pressure. condition grew critical 24 hours before death. He is survived by sister Mrs Lee Grinder Creston. Funeral plans not set.
