The First United Brethren Church celebrated the conference year with Sunday services led by Rev FE L Ortt. Under his leadership the church's programs in Sunday School Church and auxiliaries progressed well. The East Ohio Conference meets Sept 14 to 19 at Akron with J H Brown as delegate and Mrs Ed Sharr as alternate.
Gay Worthy, Jim Galehouse's classy pacer, won second money in the 2 16 pace at the Berean fair. The horse was driven by George Lynch, trainer of MedLa.
