Mrs Robert Burnett is in intensive care at Akron General Hospital after a serious collision on new Route 57 north of Rittman. Her right eye injury proved fatal for salvage. her husband had minor injuries. George Thompson of Seville remains in fair condition at Wadsworth Rittman Hospital. The Burnett car near Route 57 and Seville Road collided with Thompson’s farm pickup traveling east.

Howard Weinsheimer of North Portage Street Davies Town died Saturday in a Parma hospital after several weeks of illness. A life resident born in Taylestown, he entered Veterans Hospital in Cleveland in March. He was survived by two sisters Mrs Pauline O'Brien and Mrs Helen Frederick of Doylestown and three brothers in Barberton and New York. Burial was at Mt. Eaton.
