Serious Injury in Sterling Brick Tower Collapse
F A Goffinett, a Sterling businessman and local figure, was badly injured last Thursday while brick hauling for a tower. A rope loop failed, bricks fell twenty three feet, striking him in the head. He was taken home and found to have a severe scalp wound and concussion. his condition is critical and he remains semi conscious.

Former Rittman Citizen Found Dead in Akron
A former Rittman resident Lowell Nigh, 41, was found dead by hanging in an out-building at 221 West Cedar Street Akron. Domestic troubles were cited. he disappeared after midnight while visiting his mother’s home. Dell Nigh and other siblings survive him. Body removed to Billow's morgue.

Aged Couple Visit By Hobarts Retired Family Reunion
An elderly couple aged 91 and 93 spent several days with their son. Plans for a Wadsworth auto trip were foiled by poor roads. The Hobarts are linked to Wadsworth through Mrs Hobart, her family ties, while Mr James Ostrander, their half brother aged 82, traveled from west of Wadsworth to spend Sunday in Rittman.
