Four Way Stop To Be Installed At West Sunset DeCourcey
The city council joined with Wayne County Commissioners and Milton Township Trustees to approve converting the West Sunset and DeCourcey intersection from a three way to a four way stop. The plan includes traffic control by Calvary Baptist Church volunteers and city township cooperation on road salting and plowing to ease winter hazards.

At the November 19 meeting the Board of Education decided to preserve separate Baccalaureate and Commencement exercises. Seniors urged a single ceremony. Ferrer and Haulk supported one ceremony while Bodager Beery and Hisem opposed citing tradition of two events.

Planning supervisor James Trutko told 100 civic leaders that Northeast Ohio will grow into a six million population megalopolis by century’s end, with growth along the Cleveland to Canton interstate corridor and major expansion of transport and utilities. The 1974 Girl Scout cookie sale begins in Rittman on November 30 with door to door distributers from 3 30 pm. Five varieties of family size cookies sell for 1 00 per box and proceeds fund troop programs the Girls Opportunity Fund and Western Reserve Council properties.
