Electric Lights Assured As Village Council Reaches Agreement
Adjourned village council session approves lighting contract with Cleveland Southwestern Columbus Ry company. Mayor six councilmen and clerk sign. Work to begin soon after long-framed franchise finalized. Also pavement bid ad, building code talk, and fire resistant material debate on Main street Ohio avenue. Bills totaling 173 dollars 57 cents ordered paid.

High School Notes and Rural School Attendance Update
No school Friday after Thanksgiving. District 6 baseball team, coached by Mr Liechty, lost to Grammar grade boys on the High School grounds. Batteries No 6 Lechty and Burger. Grammar grade Blough and Wilson. Thanksgiving programs set for Wednesday at 1 30 PM. Miss Porter of Canal Fulton and Mr Paul Stump of Fulton visited Friday. Rural schools second month report shows Fifth grade with best attendance and First graders most punctual for third month with 44 pupils enrolled.

The Erie Depot was burglarized Friday night with entry through the ticket office, using the iron bus and window from the waiting room. Only a few pennies were taken. nothing else was disturbed, suggesting the burglars sought money but found none of value.
