Attorneys requested a special meeting on November 10 to discuss damages for properties abutting the Erlett project. Council apportioned 2750 dollars among 18 members to offer each landowner an average sum, with individual offers ranging from 30 to 600 dollars, totaling 2770 dollars for the right of way.
Mrs Wim Lee, aged about 80, dies last Monday near Rittman after a long residence east of town. Survived by her husband about 85, two sons and one daughter. Funeral held Thursday afternoon at the home and burial at Wadsworth cemetery. The Lees were among the oldest couples in the area.
Mr and Mrs Willard Plough traveling to attend Private Spigelmire's funeral near Wooster with Rev George Lorton when the car swerved and overturned. The Irank Pryor stock, tied to the Realty block Variety Store run by Pryor for two years, is likely to change hands. Mrs T Slinaybaugh’s mother is negotiating purchase, and Mr Blaybaugh plans to use the store room for plumbing business soon.
