Employee of The Ohio Box Board dies in Wooster hospital
Wm. A Zahner of Orrville, a blacksmith and employee of The Ohio Box Board company for one year, died Thursday evening in a Wooster hospital of pneumonia. He had lived in Orrville thirteen years. Survived by wife, daughter, a brother and sister. Funeral services by Letckheim of Orrville were held at his home on Fair Street Sunday at ten. Burial was in Shanesville.

Deneke auto crash after near miss on Sunday
Mr and Mrs Deneke of Main Street were returning from Orrville when their car was sideswiped by a man from Akron who tried to squeeze between two vehicles. Cars collided, fenders and running boards damaged, wheel torn off on the other car, no serious injuries beyond bruises. The crash happened near the old people's home south of town.

Uncle Tom passes away in Wooster home
A longtime Ruriman resident known as Uncle Tom died last Saturday at the county home in Wooster. Born in England in 1850, he came to Seville at age four and was 95 years 10 months upon death. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church with Rev R I Platter in charge. He leaves three sisters and a brother. The piece notes his prior friendliness to The Press and his local involvement.
