The 1973 Rittman High School Scholarship Team spent May 5 at West Holmes High School taking state prepared tests in English Spanish French American History Chemistry Biology Geometry Algebra and more Principal Marvin Hummel accompanied the team. Test results will be announced in late May. More than 60 artists showed over 250 pieces in the Rittman Fine Arts Foundation show sponsored by local clubs and banks.

Solomon Weber aged 86 of Lewisville Ohio died Tuesday May 1 at Memorial Hospital Marietta after a year of failing health. Services were at Bauer Turner Funeral Home Woodsfield Friday May 4 at 1 p.m. Survived by wife Ora of Lewisville six sons Frank Rittman Ralph Sterling Alton Columbus Merle Wadsworth Edsel Orrville Roger Akron and daughter Mrs Virgil Grace DeVoe of Lewisville.
