Joe Scheck a well known tramp of unknown occupation suffered a stroke Monday in Creston. He went to Dr Allen's office where the apoplexy occurred and Father Croftley of Wooster administered last rites. Murray ambulance took him to Kinney and Smith hospital in critical condition.

The Presbyterian ladies held their monthly social last Monday evening after a praise song. They opened with prayer and decided to aid southern mining district sufferers by sending garden seeds. A birthday program followed with solos by Mrs. Walter Wolfe and Donaldine Wolfe, and a piano piece by Miss Louise Yochheim. A playlet Hans Von Smash featured many local participants. About 65 attended and refreshments were served.

Woman's Benefit Association Holds Meeting in Wooster Plans Rally
On Tuesday evening the Woman's Benefit Association met with President Oslo Snyder presiding. Twenty five members attended along with District Deputy Addie Brown and Mrs Wolfe.
