Irvin Myers 77 died Tuesday at his home 125 S Pardee St Wadsworth after a two year illness He was born near Red Haw Ohio son of Isaac and Susan Myers He lived in Medina County since 1920 and farmed until 1943 He also worked at Rittman Cemetery He was a member of Red Haw Evangelical United Brethren Church He and Emma Myers celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary October 6 1946 Survived by wife three daughters three sons 14 grandchildren three great grandchildren one sister and one brother Funeral at Gillman Funeral Home Friday at 2 p m Rev A Neuenschwander officiating Friends may call after 3 p m Thursday

Village council finally approved an International truck bid after first votes rejected all offers. The earlier rejections cited heavy weight and high cost though the truck met specifications. Ferrer and Kunkler opposed, citing their work on the specs.
