Two Crestonites Recover From Injuries In Wreck
Chris Schlegel and his nephew Charles Schlegel of Creston are recovering after a vehicle crash near Akron last Wednesday. Police say they were in a car that hit a safety zone in front of the O'Neil store. Chris suffered a fractured skull and other internal injuries while Charles had a fractured nose and several broken ribs. The car, owned by Robert Russell of Creston, was destroyed. The Schlegels had a prior accident two years ago on Acme hill resulting in the death of Robert Earl.
