Scout drive funds total $1061 for building fund

The Ritt man Scout Organization reports $1061 raised in a recent drive. Drive Chairman George Sandrock announced at the March city hall meeting that funds, plus a bequest from Dr. C C. Gregg, push the building fund to over $1100. Committees were named to review budgets and allocate money for troops and activities. Plans showed a two floor cabin for the east slope on W. Ohio Ave. property with public release expected soon.

Presbyterian Choir Easter Vesper Program

Presbyterian church will present an Easter Vesper program Sunday at 4 p.m. The event includes choral numbers by famed composers with solos. A procession and recessional will mark the program. Soloists include Miss Gladys, Mrs. Clem Wald, and Mrs. E Wagener. Mrs. Ernest Harrison directs, with Rery Kinch as assistant director and Mrs. G H Clippinger at the organ.

Ontario Northland film show draws near full crowd

About 500 people attended a two reel color movie presentation of the Ontario Northland at the high school auditorium. Col Johnson of Noath Bay showed the films as guests of Harol Rich of the Rittman Chamber of Commerce. Secretary J W Frye spoke on chamber aims and asked residents to cooperate on community activities. President Robert Freed introduced Col Johnson and K W Osborne operated the projector.

Plans for Boys Softball League Target Summer Play
