After a day of bombardment the Te Press office fortifications fell and a flag of truce rose. Captain John Maine led early assaults with a 50 50 energy driven volley of dollars and later Captain Ray Musser directed a final charge with 46 rounds. Prizes awarded include a Typewriter to John Maine and credits to Musser and several Rittman contestants. Over 2000 subscriptions were won with 103 on the last day. 600 to 700 paid up and thanks extended to public supporters.
