Red Cross Drive Opens in March Wayne County Chapter
The Wayne County Red Cross Chapter sets a 1951 goal of 26000 dollars up 30 percent from 1950 to support expanded blood bank work and home nurse training. The kickoff two week drive begins Thursday with a local quota of 1867 dollars at Rittman Savings Bank. Clarence L. Norton chairs with co chairs Mrs Warden Bodager and Mrs John Fisher. Four Cars Smashed In Two Accidents At Rittman Crossing
Walter Wilson of Rittman was driver of a car struck by the No. 2 Eastbound Erie train at Sterling Avenue crossing about 2 35 AM. He was cited for reckless driving after the wreck left the vehicle a total loss and officers investigated. Photographs will appear in next week's Rittman Press.

Car Crash Injures Three on South Main Street
Neil Bellamy of 50 Front Street lost control on South Main Street Sunday evening crashing into two parked cars owned by Aubrey Lambert and Larry Risely. Bellamy, driving a 1949 Ford, was taken to Wadsworth Hospital with a broken nose, three broken ribs, cuts and bruises. owners of the parked cars were also badly damaged.
