Obituary of Peter Krabill Former Sterling Resident
Peter Krabill born February 6 1865 near Monthelaird France came to America with his parents in May 1880 settling on a farm near Sterling Ohio. He died after a long illness and a stroke with funeral services held June 20 conducted by Rev Wilmer Shelly at the First Mennonite Church of Wadsworth. He married Tillie Rich on February 20 1890 and leaves two children Asa of Sterling and Mabel Brenneman of Rittman plus a grandson Dean. He was deacon of the Ganton Ohio Mennonite church and later a member of the First Mennonite Church of Wadsworth. He endured declining health since October 1931 after a lengthy period of illness and confinement to bed.

Marshal Bender of Rittman found a 1927 Buick sedan abandoned north of Sterling Wednesday night. The car had been stolen Tuesday from Mr Goodridge, an Akron foundry worker. He notified Akron police chief, who arranged delivery to the owner the next day.

At the 22nd annual reunion of Wadsworth Township Districts No 0 and 1, held at the home of Mr and Mrs Lowry Thomas in Silver Creek, Mr Ob Ko Smooser, brother of Ilenry Smoayer, spoke before more than 200 former pupils and teachers. Shroyer, a former Dist No 11 teacher from 64 years ago, recalled a 64-pantry school with two full-blooded Indian pupils whose parents were natives of the locality. Accident delays reunion trip near North Tognhont
A Ford coupe traveling to a Baker reunion near North Royalton collided with another vehicle at the foot of a ramp near River Street injuring Mrs Wheeler Mrs Snow and two children who were in the Ford.
