Congratulations for Tom Isaac and Brian Bodager as they win election at Boys' State showing pride in Rittman youth.

Rittman Square saw an auto motorcycle crash on a Saturday evening. Duane Hopton of 73 South First Street Rittman drove east on Ohio Avenue and, attempting a left turn, collided with a motorcycle carrying Jerry Flippo of 133 Main Street Wadsworth and John Halstead of 163 Grandview Avenue Wadsworth traveling west on Ohio Avenue. Flippo received treatment at the scene.
The Rittman Chamber of Commerce Retail division plans the Sleepwalker Sale for July 21 from 6 to 11 pm with prizes including a $500 US Savings Bond and a weekend trip to Kings Island. Shoppers register in participating stores to be eligible for contests and prizes.
Rittman Board of Education at its monthly meeting authorized replacement of bleacher planks with treated lumber for about 1500 dollars and allowed the Booster clubs to add 100 to 120 seats at no cost. clubs to build an 8 by 16 foot concession stand on the visitors side. The board accepted the resignation of West Hill Principal Miriam Roth after 25 years with the district.
Brian Bodager son of Mr and Mrs Bodager elected a Supreme Court Justice at Ohio Boys State in Columbus with Supreme Court Justice Cam O Neill installing the Justices Tom Issac another delegate was elected President of the McCaw City Council Both boys attend Capital University programs and gain government insight through the week long event Bodager is a Rittman High senior and Eagle Scout with NHS leader roles Issac excels in sports and academics and wrestled in the state tournament nationwide.
