Three Train Victims In One County Within 24 Hours
Three men died in railroad accidents within 24 hours in one county. Louis A. Chartris, a Sebring pottery worker, was killed east of Orrville by a Pennsylvania train. Later Howell Bevan died south of Orrville on a W and L train. Friday morning Howard Kimes, 19, of Kenmore, was killed by an Erie train at Creston while boarding. The incidents occurred as the men were boarding trains.

Foreign man found dead on Erie tracks near Sterling
Early Tuesday, a foreigner’s body was found on the Erie tracks west of Sterling Avenue crossing. He was killed by a train and badly mutilated, with an arm and both legs severed. Over $80 in his pockets, no identification. The corpse was taken to A. L. Ebert funeral home awaiting identification.

Boys depart for harvest fields near Bellville Ohio
