First Baptist Church Votes To Unite With Regular Baptist
The First Baptist Church of Rittman voted to unite with the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches at its quarterly meeting. Pastor J E Wheeling and daughter Nancy Ruth will attend the 30th annual Associational meeting in Winona Lake Indiana June 18 to 23. The association notes leadership workshops and youth emphasis with nearly 1000 member churches on national and international levels.

Rittman Pool Sees Record Opening Attendance
Recreation Director Homer Pyle reports opening day activity at Rittman pool has boosted sales. In the first two weeks, 1,282 student and 113 adult single tickets sold. Season passes include 26 family, 85 student, and four adult. Attendance this week runs about a week ahead of last summer with 240 on Tuesday.
