Partly cloudy conditions with chances of showers and thunderstorms in the latter half of the week. Temperatures will run near normal for the season as a weather watch notes unsettled conditions and occasional storms.
Despite threatening weather a crowd attended the fifteenth annual Baughman Township picnic and commencement exercises. Judge Weiser of Wooster delivered the opening address while Judge Kreohbaum of Canton spoke to the class as District Supervisor Vil ler presented the diplomas. attendees hailed from various parts of the county.
Ernest Franklin Flickinger born September 22 1895 north of Rittman died May 31 1916 at his parents home near Kenmore from diabetes and measles. He is buried at Mt Zion cemetery south of Sterling. Survived by father, mother and seven sisters and two nephews. Funeral dirges note a hopeful note of eternal peace.
