One of the largest RHS classes ever to graduate will receive diplomas Thursday at 8 pm in special exercises. 107 seniors will obtain diplomas as scholarships and awards are given, including PTA and Osteopathic honors. Diane Pait delivers the class address, with Dr William C Craig giving the commencement speech.

Contract talks continue after union meeting at PCA plant
Further talks are planned after a Brotherhood of Paper, Pulp and Sulphite workers meeting at Packaging Corporation of America. The first proposal was reportedly rejected and a follow up session is expected after discussions at Rittman High School Thursday afternoon.

Two Rittman students chosen for Rotary Exchange year
Rittman High School seniors Ramona Pickens and Nancy Sandrock have been selected for Rotary International student exchanges to South America. Ramona will study in Bolivia and live with Rotarians in La Paz and Teofilo Otoni Brazil. Nancy heads to Brazil to Teofilo Otoni and to Bolivia for studies in La Paz. They join four previous Rittman students who have spent a year in South America.
