Dover Accident Injures 13 Year Old Catherine Cotton
Catherine Cotton aged 13 daughter of Mrs Martha Cotton of Rittman is in Union hospital with a brain concussion after being struck by a car in Dover Tuesday at 3 50 p m. She had been visiting in Dover when she ran across the street into the path of a car driven by Dan Ramsberger of New Philadelphia. The hospital lists her condition as fair.

Farmer Finds Baby In Field Near Doylestown
A baby girl was found crying in a rye field about three miles east of Doylestown by a farmer Wednesday night. She was taken to Wadsworth hospital and authorities, led by Sheriff Ed Mills, investigated the scene and ruled out field trespass. A household girl later admitted paternity.
