Medina Artist To Show Slides
The Rittman Chamber of Commerce will meet Thursday at the Wayne Savings and Loan meeting room at 7 30 p m. Elmer Zarney Medina commercial artist and Community Design Committee member will present a slide show and talk outlining downtown Medina’s plan to become a Victorian showplace. The program is open to the public with a Q and A session and buffet refreshments after.

Wayne County Receives Edison Tax Payment in 1971 Rollback
Ohio Edison's Rittman District Manager G E Falk delivered 127 094 68 to Wayne County Treasurer Ethel M Parker for 1971 second half property taxes. A February payment of 127 112 62 covered first half taxes, with 17 94 difference due to a 10 percent rollback on real estate.

City Council Deadlocks On Rate Increase Amid Absence
A motion to amend Section 2 of Ordinance No 4470 failed in a deadlocked vote after Mayor Hall could not cast a tie breaking vote due to missing council members.
