Floyd Fisher a Rittman High senior remains in good spirits after his third surgery in three weeks for polio related conditions. He will undergo two more operations this summer including a back stretching procedure and a spinal fusion at University Hospitals Cleveland. He has been in Hanna House since June 16 and needs two more credits to graduate. A second hospital patient, David Burss aged 14, is at Akron Children’s Hospital for skin grafts after a fall burn and will be there most of the summer.

Services were Saturday in Doylestown for George Morrison 82 of 557 South Portage. He died at Barberton Citizens Hospital after two weeks illness. Born in Ashville he moved to Doylestown in 1932 where he ran Morrison Nursery and collected antiques. Survivors include wife Effie daughter Ruth and sister Katherine Chapman. Burial was in Lakewood Cemetery.
