Marshallville Man Injured Moving Load for Frank Harter

Marshallville resident David Stinson, moving contractor and father of Mrs. R. V. Fredrick, was injured when a load of blocks overturned during transport for Frank Harter in North Rittman. He suffered a broken arm and finger plus cuts and bruises, and was taken to Dr Toland’s office.

Well Known Marshallville Businessman in Serious Accident

F Gensemer retired merchant was seriously injured Wednesday while tearing down an old barn behind L C Ridabaughs store with Jacob Neiswanger. He slipped ten feet from the roof injuring face arm neck and breaking a shoulder. Doctors Massy Irvin and later Dissinger treated him. he is recovering with community sympathy.

Narrow Escape From Drowning By Petit Brothers

Four Petit brothers Charles Henry Wilbur and Emmet narrowly escaped drowning while working a saw mill near Loyal Oak. One brother tired in a deep stream hole, two others perished in a rescue attempt, and the fourth pulled them to safety using tree branches. At the June 12 1913 gathering at Daniel Ramseyer home a dispute on electing officers arose. L E Conrad proposed bringing the question before a decision making man who ruled that officers chosen at the special gathering are not binding on the annual reunion. The 1914 reunion will elect officers at J K Leichty Noble IA for the next year’s reunion at S E Conrad Sterling OH. NRAD REUNION street commissioner Hamlin says Edward Payson Weston was in Ashland Sunday unconscious from sun stroke.
