F Gensemer retired merchant was seriously injured Wednesday while tearing down an old barn behind L C Ridabaughs store with Jacob Neiswanger. He slipped ten feet from the roof injuring face arm neck and breaking a shoulder. Doctors Massy Irvin and later Dissinger treated him. he is recovering with community sympathy.

Narrow Escape From Drowning By Petit Brothers
Four Petit brothers Charles Henry Wilbur and Emmet narrowly escaped drowning while working a saw mill near Loyal Oak. One brother tired in a deep stream hole, two others perished in a rescue attempt, and the fourth pulled them to safety using tree branches.
