John Wenger Dies After Long Illness
John R. Wenger 73 of 69 North Third Rittman died Sunday at Brecksville Veterans Hospital after a two year illness. A Rittman business man for over 40 years he owned grocery and meat businesses and later furniture and appliances. He served in World War I and was post commander of American Legion Post 423. Surviving are his wife a daughter and three sons nine grandchildren a sister and three brothers. Services were held Tuesday at Gillman Funeral Home with military rites by Howard A. Bair Post American Legion.
