Rittman high school basketball fell to Dalton 54 25 on the Dalton floor as Peters and Ramsler led Dalton with 13 16 point totals and Rittman battled injuries missing Milford and Zivkovich. The Indians later dropped to Loudonville 32 18 in a rough Central Buckeye League contest paced by Darling's 12 points for Loudonville while Spit and Riggs led Rittman with 4 points each. Brodbeck To Head Firemen In 1941
Don Brodbeck was named president of the Rittman fire department for 1941 at a recent meeting. Elected officers included Norman Beery as vice president, Lawrence Stogimiller as secretary, Herr Brickel as assistant secretary, and C B Shook as treasurer. Fire losses in 1940 totaled 1075 dollars. The department answered 16 calls: 14 town, 1 Doyle’s town, and 1 township. They laid 950 feet of 2 1/2 inch hose and 50 feet of booster hose, and operated one chemical tank in 1940 fires.

Last summer the orchestra played for society at the Worcester Country Club in Rye New York a short drive from New York City. Ashbrook has appeared on major radio networks.
