Fire damages Summit Freight truck engine in short circuit
A large Summit Fast Freight truck caught fire last Tuesday at 3 p.m. due to an electrical short while unloading at the Schaefer building. Firefighters doused the motor and cab with water and chemicals. no injuries reported. A nearby incident at Ohio Boxboard Plant involved a glass alarm triggered by a fork truck, but no fire occurred.
