The Rittman Autos Club held its annual gathering at the High School auditorium with 140 attendees. A banquet hosted by Miss Josephine Williams’s Domestic Science class featured music by the school orchestra and talent acts, followed by a business meeting to elect directors.
At the last Business and Professional Men's Athletic Association gathering H B Heirs was elected president and Dr Cc C Gregg secretary treasurer for the ensuing year. A membership fee of one dollar covers 20 weeks. The Board of Education grants gym use free. Mrs Petit is thanked for keeping the gym in order. Garber directs calisthenics and oversees games. About 20 members attended on Jan 7 with all joining. Next meeting is Jan 21 at 7 pm inviting business professionals and others.
Joseph Sherrick longtime Rittman resident and artist has bought the contents of Miss Praga Brenneman beauty parlor and opened a Parker shop in the rooms used by beauty parlors. He previously worked for Roscoe Hutmamel and now starts his own barber business this week.
Last Thursday at a teen day lunch the Wadsworth Advertising Club heard B A Bunnelle of the Ohio Match Company outline a proposed Wadsworth to Rittman road running parallel to the Eyre Railroad. Local business men voiced strong support with a rousing vote. Bunnelle said Ohio firms would help with expenses and noted right of way from Rittman to Custard Hook along Erie tracks, with the improvement following Mill Road into town.

The Wooster College Glee Club performed before a full house at Pastime Theatre last Thursday, presented the operetta Hansel and Gretal with notable violin and vocal numbers, led by an able conductor, with Mr and Mrs Tracy Shook providing prelude music. the event was financially successful for local music lovers.
The notice marks the marriage of Milton H. Blough of Burbank and Lydia Elouise Masalé of Lodi on Monday January 6 1926. The ceremony took place at the Methodist parsonage in Lodi with Rev. F Fan cher officiating. The couple will reside in Rittman.

Russell Rodenberg and Celia Holm wed Saturday at the Methodist parsonage in Wooster. The bride, lifelong Mittman resident and acclaimed singer, is youngest daughter of G W Holm. The groom, Detroit native and Toledo University attendee, works as an adenotyne operator on The Press. They will reside in Rittman.
December records show three births and no deaths to the clerk of vital statistics. Newberry notes the births of a Girl to Mr and Mrs Asa Boyes named Julia Belle, a daughter to Mr and Mrs Boyd Benschofe two daughters Eva and Lois, and a child to Mr and Mrs Peter Spasofceive labeled a son or stillborn, with details incomplete.
The Rittman Orchards Company directors met at the office of Ww. BR. Shook and transacted business. Officers expressed satisfaction with progress and looked forward to the first harvest in the near future.
Julia Bechtel aged years died Wednesday morning at 408 West North Street Wooster Ohio following a long illness. She is survived by her husband A M Bechtel and children including Mrs Nettie Willard of Wilkensburg Pa and M W Bechtel of Wooster. Funeral Monday at 3 PM from the family home conducted by Rev S S P Keifar. Burial in Wooster Cemetery.
