Arbiters Rule Ohio Boxboard Case Discharge Too Severe
A three arbiter panel in Akron rules that John Trent’s discharge from The Ohio Boxboard Company was too severe given delays. They lay him off for 30 days from February 10 1946 without pay and allow return after the layoff with warning that repetition could lead to immediate dismissal. The decision reflects union contract review and disciplinary standards.
