Herbert Harper of 188 Highland Avenue Wadsworth died Tuesday morning at 2 30 after several months illness. He led the orchestra at the Whadsworth Methodist church and owned Rexall Drug store here for two years. He is survived by a wife two sons Don and Dale two sisters Mrs H H Cully and Mrs Shultz one brother Warren Funeral Friday with Rev W A Jones at the Methodist church burial in Woodlawn cemetery.

Local man injured when machine 18 wrecked
Stephen Vinovich an 18 year old local man was taken to Kinney and Smith hospital Wooster after a CCC highway wreck near Creston and Jackson. He and another man from Lorain named Zoochez suffered broken legs and other injuries. The car overturned struck a telephone pole leaving the Essex completely wrecked. Fractures were reduced and on Monday both injured men rested at the hospital.

Fire destroys Creston broom factory building
A fire at Creston détroyed a broom company building, injuring no one. Early Friday morning investigators blamed lack of water supply for the $20,000 estimated loss. The WB Glessner owned plant employed about 20 workers and produced high quality brooms before the blaze.
