Serious Two Car Crash Sends Man To Hospital
William Lester Workman, 50, is seriously injured after a two car collision north of Rittman on County Line Road. DeForest Freed, 26, drove the other car. Workman suffered a crushed pelvis and internal injuries. Freed was uninjured but both vehicles were demolished. State Highway Patrol investigators cited mutual fault as Workman pulled in front of Freed after stopping to let other cars pass. A new car was eight miles from home at the time of the crash.

Services Held For Robert Bowman
Services were held at Wayne Presbyterian Church for Robert Dean Bowman 18 son of Mr and Mrs Harold Bowman of Creston. The farm accident victim died Wednesday morning when his Holstein bull fatally injured him as he groomed the animal. Bowmans parents found his body in the bull pin upon returning from Wooster. He graduated from Norwayne High School last June and had enrolled at Boyd Business College in Cleveland but returned home to help on the farm. He was senior class president at school a 4-H leader a junior fair board member and superintendent of the Junior Dairy Show in 1964. He belonged to FFA on the Norwayne student council and varsity baseball and basketball teams. He was in 604 Rangers 4H Club helped organize a quartet making radio appearances and was active in his church. He leaves his parents three siblings grandparents and other relatives. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pastor Dinsmore Stockdale officiated.

Mrs Icy Hine Succumbs At Sixty Eight
Mrs Icy A Hine 68 of 55 Beech Street died Friday afternoon at Wadsworth Rittman Hospital after a long illness. A lifelong area resident she was born December 11 1896 at Blachleyville to John J and Mary Ellen Dinsy. She is survived by son Walter brother Joe Dingey and sister Mrs Alice Horner with nieces and nephews. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery Wadsworth with Gillman Funeral Home in charge.
