W P Snyder 69 Dies at Home in Wooster

W P Snyder 69 father of Dr B Snyder of this place died suddenly at home on Wooster Street Monday evening. He was president of the Wayne County mce and succumbed to heart disease after a pleasant supper and a brief visit with family. Surviving are his widow Miles Snyder and Mrs Harriet Houghton. funeral Thursday at the residence with Dr Peery officiating and Wooster Cemetery interment.

Mrs. John Leighty Dies at 89 Near Sterling

Mrs. John Leighty, 89, died Monday afternoon at the family home one and one half miles east of Sterling. Surviving relatives include Miss Anna and Peter at home, Mrs Jacob Schorle, Mrs Joseph Wuergler, and Mrs Samuel Graber, all of near Sterling. The I W Maibach and Clarence Krietzly families held Sunday services at the W. W. Bodager home on State Street.

Sterling High Defeats R H S In Rough Home Game

R H S, missing Capt Kindig and Dent most of the second half, lost to Sterling 22 to 13 in a tense Friday contest before a partisan crowd. Grimier and Kunkler led R H S with six points each while Rutner, the all county forward, was held to a single field goal. Sterling pulled away after two key fouls forced by Sterling to sit Kindig and Brodbeck, with Reynold leading the R H S scoring. The R H S girls dropped 31 to 16 to Sterling in a slow start to the season.

Aged Woman Dies at 87 in Marshallville

Mrs. Gaddis age 87 died Wednesday morning at her home in Marshallville. A son Frank of near Orrville survives. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon with burial in Orrville cemetery.
